Should i buy Pioneer CDJ-400 Turntables?

Ok well idk if i shud buy these turntables ..my mom said no but then she said yes.. but im afraid im gonna waste money on it and not use it.. i mean i saw lots of vids on youtube and i really want this.. Heres the online site: http://www.musictrends.com/cdj400djm400-kit-p-11419.html
Now do i buy this for 1799? is it worth it.. Or should i buy it separate. Each pioneer turntable costs 400$ a piece which = 800$.. Then i jus get a basic mixer? What do i do .. someone please answer me!!
