Underestimated from day one, now Eminem is the most favorite among young people around the world. Hands down, Eminem is by far the most successful rapper around and has surpassed acts like Tupac Shakur and Biggie in sales. It’s safe to say that Eminem is the world’s biggest selling hip hop act of all time. Who would have thought that a poor little ‘white boy’ will once reign the hip hop and urban music charts and break cd selling records like no other.

Eminem was always into hip hop music. He grew up on old school hip hop and rap such as the likes of RUN DMC, Public Enemy and was naturally inspired by urban music. Eminem totally took hip hop to heart, which was clearly his passion. By writing rap lyrics at an early age and rapping with his friends or what not, Eminem has truly created an empire.

What really made Eminem famous was, the song produced by hip hop legend Dr.Dre called ‘High my name is’. The humorous angle that Eminem uses in his raps has won millions of fans around the world. However, their are a lot of dark tracks just as ‘Stan’ that have created equal amount of controversy throughout his career.

Eminem has already worked with top superstars in the music industry such as Dr.Dre, Timbaland, Rihanna and much more. His shows are still sold out despite the few years he took off due to drug and health issues. Since Dr.Dre helped him get on the map, Eminem has been going platinum ever since.

All by himself, Eminem changed the music industry and has influenced millions of people around the globe. Eminem has re-defined a music genre that was dominant by African Americans and have helped spread hip hop to other races of the world. Truly showcasing the power of Hip Hop music and it’s effect on people.
