Finding good quality and cheap DJ equipment can be quite a difficult task. The prices of mixers, decks and other pieces of kit can vary in price greatly so it is always worth shopping round to try and get the best deal and save some money.

Over a lifetime, you can spend a great deal of cash on DJ equipment, especially if you take it seriously and produce music too. Other items like computers and software all add up so below we are going to look at some good places to find great deals on cheap DJ equipment.

A great place to start your search for cheap Dj equipment is on the Internet at auction websites like Ebay. You can find both new and used equipment in massive quantities and therefore some excellent bargains too. If you are buying from around the world make sure that the person you buy from has lots of positive feedback and that the shipping costs are reasonable.

If auction sites were no good then you could try a specialist electronic or music store. Often they will have discounted equipment or you could even haggle a better price for ex-demo equipment.

Online shopping stores such as Amazon or Best Buy are also good places to find a good deal. Because these companies are so big and buy in large quantities it means their cost prices are usually lower and therefore you can get cheaper prices than elsewhere. Also if you do a search engine query for voucher codes you can often get a further 5% to 20% off the marked price.

Lastly, you can try classified ads sections of local publications or on websites like Craigslist. These will have local sellers offering second hand DJ equipment and are usually at very low prices if you don’t mind used gear. Try and get a demo of the kit to ensure it works properly before handing over your money.
